this is a design for my light, however this is unfinished and it is the first 2d version of my light that ive made.

dtm week 8 term 1

this week i have been doing some research on materials and i am going to start practical on friday.

these pictures are of the part file that i have created in Solidworks. Solidworks is going to be the program that i m going to use to make the light for Dr tony house.

term 1 week 7

this week has been relitavely quiet. i have had tuesday off as it was easter and i am going to start my freehand design.

dtm week 6

this week, we went on a field trip to waitangi park, civic square and the national war memorial. there were lots of different kinds of lights such as high intensity discharge lights all the way to led's. there were lots of different lights and shapes. this gives me an idea on what my light should look like.

my conseptual designs

these are some of the conseptual designs that i have sketched up. these conseptual designs are using 2 different circuits that have very different sised batteries and solar panels. also, the circuits themselfs are very different. one regulates the currant and voltage so no components blow, but the other has a transistor oscilator to boost the voltage from a simgle AA sised nicad battery.
